1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cups nuts
1 cup coconut

Mix in order. Place on cookie sheet bake 350º oven for 10 to 12 minutes
