1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 sup milk
3/4 cup chopped peanuts
1 pkg chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Cream shortening and add sugar gradually. Cream together until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with milk. Mix well. Then add peanuts, chocolate chips and vanilla. Drop from teaspoon onto greased sheet. Bake at 375 for 10 - 12 minutes.
