1 1/2 c packed brown sugar
1 c peanut butter
3/4 c margarine
1/3 c water
1 egg
1 t vanilla
3 c Quaker Oats, uncooked
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 t baking soda
1 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate pieces
4 T shortening
1/3 c chopped peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 Beat sugar, peanut butter and margarine until fluffy. Blend in water, egg and vanilla; add combined dry ingredients, mixing well. Shape into 1 inch balls. place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.

In saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate and shortening, stirring constantly until smooth. Top each cookie with 1/2 t chocolate; sprinkle with nuts. Chill until set.
