1 Cup Butter, softened
1/4 Cup Green Onion, finely chopped
1 (4oz.) Can Green Chilies or Jalapenos, diced
1 Cup Monterey Jack Cheese, grated
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Loaf French Bread (baguette kind)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, onion, peppers, cheese, mayonaisse, and garlic powder. Slice bread 1/4 inch thick and spread with butter mixture.
Broil until cheese bubbles (it takes very little time).

We served this at Tara's wedding reception and several people wanted the recipe.
We like it with extra chilies and extra cheese.
