Ingredients:  
1 pkg bacon or sausage
1 lg onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 16oz can petite diced tomatoes, drained, save juice
chicken broth and juice to make 2 cups
3-4 shakes ground red pepper
1 tsp salt
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 c converted rice (not instant)

Directions:
Directions:
Break or cut up meat and cook in skillet. When nearly done add onion and garlic. Saute until onions are soft. Add broth and juice mixture, basil and salt. Stir in tomato sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil. Add rice and beans.

Cover and cook over low heat until liquid is gone and rice is tender. Serve
