1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 tbs. milk
1 6-oz pkg. choc. chips (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and milk. Chill
Roll out on floured surface 1/4" thick

Melt chocolate chips - cool - spread on cookie dough. Roll jelly roll fashion - chill 1/2 hour.
Slice into thin pieces
Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes
