1 WHOLE SLICE ROUND STEAK, CUT THIN
CHOPPED ONION

CUT MEAT INTO 3 X 3.5 INCH RECTANGLES. SPRINKLE MEAT WITH FLOUR,SALT AND PEPPER. PLACE CHOPPED ONION AND 1/2 SLICE OF BACON ON TOP OF EACH PIECE ROUND STEAK. ROLL UP AND SECURE WITH ROUND TOOTHPICK. BROWN IN SHORTENING. PLACE STEAK ROLLUPS IN COVERED DUTCH OVEN WITH A LITTLE WATER. BAKE 300 DEGREES FOR 1 1/2 HOURS, ADDING WATER IF NECESSARY.
