2 1/2 CUPS OF FLOUR
1 TSP BAKING SODA
1 TEASPOON OF SALT
1 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER
3/4 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
3/4 CUP FIRMLY PACKED BROWN SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA
1/ 2 TSP WATER
2 EGGS
12 OUNCE PACKAGE OF CHOCOLATE CHIPS
1 CUP COURSLY CHOPPED NUTS (OPTIONAL)

Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and water. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs until creamy, then add flour mixture. Mix well. Then add chocolate chips. Mix Well. Add nuts if desired. Mix well. Drop well rounded teaspoon fulls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
