1 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
2-1/2 Cups Flour
1/2 Cups Nuts, chopped
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Filling:
1/2 Cup Peppermint Candies, crushed
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
2 Tbsp. Cream Cheese
1 Tsp. Milk
Red Food Coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter with powdered sugar. Gradually add flour, nuts and vanilla. Mix well and chill for about one hour. Meanwhile, to make filling combine candies and sugar together. Blend cream cheese, milk and food coloring together until smooth; add candy mixture. Blend well. When dough is chilled, shape into balls. Make a deep hole with your thumb in the center of each ball and fill with 1/4 teaspoon of filling. Seal up hole and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown.
