1 - 15 oz. can peach slices
1 - 15 oz. pear slices
1 - 15 oz. can apricots
1 - 15oz can pineapple chunks
1 - 15 oz can seedless Bing cherries
1 cup brown sugar
1 or 2 teaspoons curry powder
3/4 stick butter
1/2 t. ground ginger or nutmeg
1/2 cup sherry

Directions:
Drain fruit well and cut in large piedes. Grease a 3 quart baking dish with butter. Melt and cook together for several minutes the sugar, curry powder, butter and ginger. Put layer of fruit in greased dish and pour half the sauce over. Repeat with remaining fruit and sauce. Pour sherry over all. Cook in 325º oven for 1 hour. Serve hot in bowls or ramekins, in place of a salad, or serve as a dessert over icecream.
