Cake
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 c butter
1/2 c poppyseed soaked in 1 c milk for 1 hour
2 c cake flor 2 tsps bakinfg powder
1 tsp vanilla
4 beaten egg whites
Filling
4 egg yolks
3 tbls sugar
1/2 c milk
1 tbls. cornstarch
1/8 c cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Cake-Cream butter, vanilla and sugar. Add poppyseeds & milk alternating with rest of dry ingredients. Last fold in egg whites. bake in 2 -8' round pans at 375º oven until firm about 25-30 min.
Filling-Mix all ingredients together and cook over boiling water until creamy and thick. Spread between cooled cake layers. Cover cooled cake with whipped cream.
