1 lb. ground meat
1-1/2 c. chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 cans 16 oz. Ranch Styke black-eyed peas, one regular and one hot
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Tabasco Sauce
1/2 c. rice (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beef, onion, garlic, green pepper over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Add 1/2 c. rice if desired and simmer covered until rice is done, approximately 30 minutes.
