1 1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. pumpkin
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. Pumpkin spice blend
1/2 tsp. salt
Raisins & nuts if desired.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and pumpkin. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the mixture. Add nuts and raisins (soak raisins first). Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake @ 350 for 1 hour.
Makes 1 large loaf.
