Ingredients:
6 cups water
1 1/2 cup grits
1 stick margarine or butter
1 lb. grated cheese
3 tsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
3 beaten eggs
Tobasco or other hot sauce to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Add grits to boiling water and cook for 15 minutes or until thickened.
Take off stove and add rest of the ingredients, stirring well to mix.
Pour into 13x9 inch pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325º.
Can be made and refirgerated up to a day before baking for convenience.

I have "lightened" this up from original version and you could use egg beaters, less butter and less fat cheese to make it even lighter.

This recipe comes from the Clark side of the family and has been shared at nearly every large family gathering on the Adams/Clark side for many years. Great for having left over and heating for breakfast ! Freezes well too.
