1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 small green bell pepper, diced
1 tbsp. sugar
1 14 oz. can diced or stewed tomatoes
2 tsp chili powder
1 cup uncooked rice
S&P to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ground beef, onion & green pepper until brown. Drain. Add remaining ingredients. Place in covered casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Uncover the last five minutes of cooking to brown top.

This quick, easy & delicous supper casserole has been in the Spencer family for years. When Dru & Betsy got married, this was one of the recipes he asked us to pass on to his new wife. He loved it.
