1 1/4 lb ground beef
1 small chopped onion
salt and pepper
1/2 of a brick chili (found in deli isle)
1 large can of refried beans
1 can Hormel chili with beans

Corn tortillas
Shredded lettuce
Chopped tomato
Sliced avocado
Sliced olives
Shredded cheese
Sour cream
Thousand Island dressing

In large dutch oven, brown ground beef. Add onions to saute until softened. Next, add refried beans, chili and brick chili; stirring until well mixed. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. If mixture looks too thick, you can add a little bit of water to it.

Warm tortillas by placing them on the stove flame and flipping over several times until warm. Place on plate and top with meat/bean mixture. Let everyone top their tostada how they like with all of the toppings.....
