1 qt vinegar 2 1/2 sugar 1 pt of water 1/2 c. salt
Wash cucumbers and slice thick. Please clove of sliced garlic on top and bottom of jar. Fill jar with pickle slices. Place slice of onion on top of jar with dill and garlic. Combine vinegar, sugar, water, and salt. Boil and pour hot over pickles. Seal.
