2 c sifted flour, 1 tsp soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnaomon, 1/2 tsp cloves, 1/2 tsp alspice, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1 c chopped red apples, 1 c raisins, 1/2 c soft oleo, 1 1/3 c brown sugar, 1 egg, 1/4 c cider

Cream shortening & sugar, add egg & cider. Beat until combined. Add Sifted dry ingredients & fruit. Drop by Tablespoon on greased cookie sheet, two inches apart. Bake @ 400º for about 8 minutes.
