1/2 c crisco, 1 c brown sugar, 2 well beaten eggs, 1/2 c quick oatmeal, 1 c raisins, 1 1/2 c chopped & peeled apples, 1 3/4 c sifted flour, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp soda, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 3/4 c chopped nuts.

Cream sugar & shortening. Add eggs, oatmeal, raisins & nuts. Then add sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Drop by tsp on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes.
