1 head lettuce
1 lb. hamburger, cooked and drained
1 envelope taco seasoning
3/4 cup water
1 can pinto beans, drained, rinsed
1 small onion, chopped
1 chopped tomato
2 cups shredded cheese
1/2 bag doritos, lightly crushed - nacho flavor
1/2 bottle French dressing (Catalina or Catalina Light works best)

Brown hamburger, drain, return to pan. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened and set aside. Break up lettuce and place in a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients. Add meat mixture. Pour desired amount of dressing over the salad and mix thoroughly.

Make sure the meat is cooled before you put it over the salad or the lettuce will wilt.
It also works if you put all of the ingredients in a big ziploc bag and then add the dressing. You can crush the doritos at the same time you're mixing the salad.
