Ingredients:  
1/2c. butter and sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2c. ground almonds
1 1/4c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3c. milk
1 lemon; juice and zest

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butters and sugar together until light and fluffy.
2. Stir in eggs, and dry ingredients
3. Blend in almonds, milk and zest of lemon
4. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased loaf pan for 50-60mins or until done (use toothpick test).

** combine 1/4c sugar with the lemon juice and pour over the top of the loaf before baking
