5 eggs
1 cup sugar, plus 1 cup for topping
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla, plus 1 tsp. for topping
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (1 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 small carton whipping cream, plus 1 1/2 cups for topping
1 tsp. vanilla
fresh fruit and shaved chocolate, optional

Grease and flour a 9x13 pan. Preheat oven to 350.

Separate egg whites from yolks. Beat the whites until stiff.
Add yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add
sugar slowly to egg mixture. Reduce mixing speed. Stir in
vanilla. Slowly add flour and baking powder. Pour batter into
pan. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until done. Cool.

Blend the three milks and vanilla. Poke holes all over the top
of the cake with a fork. Spoon the milk mixture, first around
the edges of the cake, then the middle.

Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Top cake with beaten mixture of: 1 1/2 cups whipping cream,
1 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla. Garnish with fresh fruit or shaved
chocolate or both. Keep refrigerated.
