1 lb soy veggie crumbles
1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 can (1 lb 13 oz) whole tomatoes in juice
1-2 small bay leaves
1-2 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cayenne
1/8 tsp paprika
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, undrained
3 whole cloves
1/2 stick cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In a large stock pot, saute onions and green pepper for ~10
minutes. Add spices (cayenne, chili powder, and paprika) and continue to stir. Add veggie crumbles. When mixture sticks to bottom, add can of tomatoes. Depending on how thick you like your chili, now is a good time to add water as well, with the rest of the spices (cinnamon stick and bay). Simmer mixture for ~30 minutes, spicing to taste. Add kidney beans with their juice.
