Ingredients: 2 apples cored, pared & sliced 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 cup +2 tbsp. Bisquick mix 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 1/2 cup water 3 eggs 1/4 cup butter, softened 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Crumb Topping: 1/2 cup bisquick mix 1/2 cup walnuts 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup butter

Directions:Preheat oven to 350º.
Make crumb topping: In bowl combine bisquick mix and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add walnuts.
Toss apples with lemon juice and 2 tbsp. bisquick. then arrange in 9-inch pie plate.
Mix remaining ingredient's for 3 minutes in a blender. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Pour mixture over apples and top with crumb topping. Bake for 35 minutes or till golden |

Notes: This pie is my favorite. The first time Sandy made it she called it apple upside down pie. Jeff & Sandy were driving from New Jersey to our home for Thanksgiving dinner and had to slam on their brake. The pie went on the floor, but it was still great. I could have ate the whole pie, I think I did.
