3 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon butter extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon water
2 cups (1 12-ounce package) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, soda, and salt; set aside. Combine butter, sugars, flavorings, and water; beat until creamy and then beat in eggs. Add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. If time permits, refrigerate dough for a few hours.

Drop by well rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in 375º oven for 10-12 minutes.

Makes 5-6 dozen cookies.
