1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
3 oz cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
2 teaspoons orange juice
1 teaspoon orange peel
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips

Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
3 oz cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
2 teaspoon orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream shortening, sugar and cream cheese; add eggs, orange juice and orange peel. Add flour and salt, stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 12 minutes. Cool before frosting.

Frosting:
Combine powdered sugar, cream cheese, orange peel and juice until of spreading consistency.
