1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup crisco
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Let rest for 15-20 mins. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Mix flour and baking powder together. Add flour, alternating with milk. Start with flour and end with flour. Add vanilla and beat well. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1hr 20 mins. Do not open oven during 1st hour.
