1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, separated
3 T. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flour (may use whole-wheat flour or half of each)
1 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all wet ingredients except egg whites and blend together. Add dry ingredients and mix. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter gently.
