3 cups rolled oats
2/3 cup flour
2/3 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together oats, flour, nuts, and baking powder.

In saucepan, heat butter, brown sugar, and sugar over medium heat until butter is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.

Stir 1/2 of oat mixture into butter mixture. Stir in egg, then remaining oat mixture. Cool for 20 minutes. Stir in chocolate.

Preheat oven to 350. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten each ball slightly.

Bake until lightly browned, 10-12 minutes.
