1 - 2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
3/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

2 c. corn flakes, slightly crushed
1/4 c. butter, melted

Mix ingredients together. Spread in 9x13 pan. Combine cornflakes and melted butter. Sprinkle topping over potatoes. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
