2 c. Graham cracker crumbs
5 tbsp margarine or butter
2 c. confectioner's sugar
1 stick margarine
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
4 bananas
1 (20oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (8-or 9-oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Mix crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9X13-inch baking dish. Beat confectioners' sugar, butter, and vanilla together for 10 minutes (beating 10 min. is very important). Add 2 eggs and continue to beat until blended. Spread over crumb layer. Peel bananas and cut in half lengthwise. Place over creamed layer. Add drained pineapples on top of bananas. Cover cake with thawed whipped topping. Chill 4 hours. If desired, garnish with nuts or cherries.
