6 T. unsalted butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 T. molasses
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. sliced almonds

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside. In a mixing bowl, use electric mixer on medium speed to cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy, about 2 min. Mix in egg, molasses, vanilla, and salt. Using rubber spatula, stir in flour, rolled oats, baking soda, cinnamon, raisins, almonds and mix gently until the ingredients are combined.
Drop the dough, 2 heaping tablespoons at a time onto baking sheet spacing them 3 inches apart. Flatten the cookies slightly. Bake for 6 minutes, turn pans around and bake for 5 min. longer until cookies are deep golden brown. Cool for 1 minute, then transfer to wire rack to cool.
