1 c. butter or margarine
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
2 t. pure vanilla extract
1 T. water
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. finely chopped nuts
2 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and ½ cup of the sugar; stir in vanilla and water. Add flour, mixing well. Stir in nuts. Shape small pieces of dough into crescents. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet in 300°F. oven 20 minutes or until very lightly browned. Sift the remaining 1 cup powdered sugar and cinnamon together. Roll hot cookies in this mixture. Allow cookies to cool, then roll again in the sugar-spice mixture.
