1/2 cup butter
3 chicken breasts
1/2 cup flour
2cups or 1 can chicken broth
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3/4 cup milk
1 can evaporated milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken breasts in crock pot prior to making this dish or use leftover chicken/turkey.
Melt butter, add flour stirring until smooth. Pour hot chicken broth into mixture and stir until smooth. Add salt and pepper. Add both milks and cook over low heat stirring often. Add cut of chicken and serve over rice. You can sprinkle with toasted almonds if you like.
