4 c sugar
1 pt. water

Directions:
Directions:
Wash stemmed figs in soda water. Then soak figs in salt water (1 t salt to 1 qt. warm water). Drain and rinse.

Use 4 c sugar and 1 pt. water for each 2 lbs. of figs. Bring syrup to a boil. Add figs and cook until figs come apart.
