Mozzarella Chicken Recipe

1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 C. Italian style bread crumbs
1/2 C. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. each salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano and basil
8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 tsp. dried basil
1 C. shredded mozzarella cheese

Spray a 9x13 pan. Preheat oven to 375
In a small bowl, mix the egg and milk.
In another bowl combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and seasonings.
Dip chicken breast in egg mixture, then roll in bread and cheese mixture.
Place chicken in pan, bake for 30 minutes.
While chicken is baking, heat tomato sauce and basil until warm.
Remove chicken from oven, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake for another 5 minutes.
Pour warm tomato sauce over the chicken and serve.
May serve with pasta or rice, or by itself.
