2 1/2 cups warm milk
1 large yeast ( I use 1 pack of dry )
4 tbsp. sugar

8 cups flour
4 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1/2 oleo melted

Nut Filling:

1 1/3 cups boiling water
3 cups sugar
2 lb. ground nuts
2 tsp. oleo

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients and let stand 10 minutes or until it foams. Add remaining ingredients . Divide dough in 8 parts . Roll in triangle about 12"x15" . Spread with filling and roll. (jelly roll fashion). Put onto cookie sheet ( 2 per sheet ). Prick with fork 2' apart. Raise 1 hour. Bake at 350º for 25 or30 minutes or until brown. Rub butter or oleo over the loaves when you take them out of the oven .

I make the filling first. Use your judgement on how tight to roll as the dough will raise and crack if they are too tight. They are also very good with poppy seed filling and a glaze. Enjoy
