Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 C flour
2 sticks butter
1/2 C sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C finely chopped pecans
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
I do this in the Cuisinart:
Into the mixing bowl put the following:
2 C flour
1/2 C sugar
2 Sticks butter, cut into small pieces
1 tsp vanilla
Pulse machine on and off until the pieces resemble
large crumb shapes. Then add 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans (or more if you are so inclined). Pulse on and off until the crumbs turn into one big ball.
Using a medium dough scoop, or roughly 1 rounded tablespoon, scoop one dough scoop and roll it into a ball. Then shape into a crescent. You do not need to grease the cookie sheet.
Bake 350 degree oven for about 20 to 30 minutes, or until bottom is lightly golden and the top seems firm to the touch.
Cool and roll in powdered sugar.
