1/4 c. soy sauce
2 T. honey
2 T. vinegar
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp chinese five spice

Directions:
Directions:
combine ingredients and blend. pour sauce over a roasting chicken to coat. marinate in refrig. over night. drain and reserve sauce. roast the chicken marinating with reserved sauce every 20 minites.

chinese five spice is a combination of cinnamin, anise, ginger, cloves, and sometimes pepper and fennel. you can substitute the five spice with these more common spices.
