4 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup milk
1 slightly beaten egg
2 cups plus fresh sliced strawberries
Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup soft butter
1/3 cup flour
Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake ingredients except strawberries and place in a
greased 11x7 1/2 inch pan. Sprinkle with strawberries. Prepare
topping and crumble on top of cake. Bake at 400 degrees for 35
minutes or until done.
