1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. rolled oats
1/3 c. melted shortening
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. diced rhubarb
1 T. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour & salt. Add oats, melted shortening, & 1/2 c. sugar. Blend until crumbly. Line a 9" pie plate with 1/2 of mixture. Save remaining 1/2 for top. Arrange rhubarb over bottom crust. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon & water. Dot with small pieces of butter. Spread remaining topping over filling. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
