2 T Oil
1 Lg Onion, halved and sliced
1 T Flour
12 oz Chicken or beef stock

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in a medium sized sauce pan.

Add the onions and saute until brown, about 10 minutes.

Sprinkle the flour over the onions and continue to cook, stirring for about 2 - 3 minutes.

Gradually add the stock and continue to cook until thickened.

Partially cover adn cook for another 10-15 minutes to allow the flavours to develop, stirring time to time.

Serve over mashed potatoes, or all meats. Very good!
