3 c. flour
3 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. shortening
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1 1/2 T. extract (almond, lemon, etc.)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix with electric mixer 5 1/2 min. Pour mixture into a greased tube pan and bake for 350. Cool and add powdered sugar to top.

My brother-in-law Bob makes this perfect everytime, I have thrown this cake away more times than I have kept it. Try, try again. The tube pan is tricky.
