1/2 C. shortening
2 C. sugar
2 eggs
2 C. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 C. chopped apples
1 C. chopped nuts
1/2 C. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Cream shortening and sugar, beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs.
In a separate bowl, combine all the dry ingredients, stir well.
Add eggs and stir well. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins.
Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.
Bake for 45 minutes.
