1 med. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 clove garlic - minced
2 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 - 6 oz. can tomato paste
1/2 C dry red wine, 1/2 C water
1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. oregano, 1/2 tsp. pepper,
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 lb. ricotta, 1/2 lb. mozzarella and 1/2 C Parmesan
1 package lasagna noodles.

Directions:
Brown ground beef, drain, add other ingredients (except noodles and cheese), simmer 1 1/2 hours. Cook noodles according to package directions.
Layer noodles, sauce and cheese (3 layers) in lasagna pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. let set a few minutes before you cut it.
