1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. shortening
1 egg (well beaten)
1 c. mashed bananas
1 3/4 c. rolled quick oats
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together: flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Cut in shortening, add egg, bananas, rolled oats, chocolate chips. Beat until throughly blended. Drop by spoonfulls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400º for about 10 minutes
