2 sticks butter
1 lb. lard (box)
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. anise seeds
flour (about 6 cups)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter, lard and eggs together. Add sugar and blend until smooth. Add baking powder, vanilla, and anise seeds and mix well. Add enough flour until dough is sticky. Flour rolling pin and surface. Before you bake cookies dip in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Roll out to the size of a wedding band. Cook at 350º for about 10 minutes.
