2 T. Butter
1 sm onion
2 T. vinegar
2 T. Br. Sugar
2 T. lemon juice
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/2 t. dry mustard
1/2 t. cayenne pepper
1 t. papricka
1 t. chili powd.
3/4 C. Ketchup or tomato sauce
3/4 C. water or meat broth
2 T. worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Add all together and cook 20 minutes.
Cook meat til tender and pour over meat and cook 1/2 hour or so.

This is a very tasty barbecue sauce with a bit of zip to it that Ruth put on short ribs, but it is good anywhere that you would use a barbecue sauce.
