Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I got this recipe the first year I was married from John's Grandma Roylance. He was very excited to have me make these up. But he insisted that I had to dice all the onions, since that was the way his grandma made them. Well after an hour of dicing 12 large onions, I didn't think I would every stop crying. When I saw his grandma the next time, I asked her how she could stand dicing all those onions. She looked at me and said "why would I do that. I would be crying for a week. I just slice them real quick". I never took his cooking advice again.
