2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
5 cups blended oatmeal (see note)
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 ounces chocolate chips
1 -8oz. Hershey bar, grated
3 cups chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter and sugars; add eggs and vanilla; mix
together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Add
chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place
2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes at 375º
oven. (Makes 112 cookies). Do not overbake.
Note: measure oatmeal and blend in blender to fine powder
